Last November, Variety revealed that Netflix had renewed “Black Mirror” for a seventh season, with plans to start filming later that year.
Season 6 of the popular sci-fi series, created by Charlie Brooker, was released on Netflix in June 2023 after a four-year break. Netflix shared that the season had 11.3 million views in its first four days.
The sixth season of “Black Mirror” had five episodes and a cast full of stars like Aaron Paul, Annie Murphy, Himesh Patel, Josh Hartnett, Kate Mara, Michael Cera, Rob Delaney, Rory Culkin, Salma Hayek Pinault, and Zazie Beetz. The episodes were: “Joan Is Awful,” about a TV show created by AI; “Loch Henry,” where filmmakers get caught up in a true-crime story; “Beyond the Sea,” a sci-fi story about body-swapping; “Mazey Day,” a horror story about paparazzi; and “Demon 79,” the first supernatural “Red Mirror” episode.
