The Paris 2024 Olympics will end with a musical celebration featuring some of Los Angeles’ biggest stars. According to Variety, the August 11 closing ceremony will include performances by Billie Eilish, Snoop Dogg, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, each showcasing a different part of L.A.’s diverse culture.
The artists will perform from Los Angeles in a combination of pre-recorded and live shows, according to the publication. This will serve as a musical introduction to the 2028 L.A. Olympic Games.

Snoop Dogg, a key figure in West Coast rap, has been a major presence during the Paris Games. With his viral commentary for NBC and his role as the U.S. Olympic torchbearer, Snoop has shown his charisma on the world stage, becoming an unofficial ambassador for the country.

According to reports, Tom Cruise will rappel down from the top of Stade de France while holding the Olympic flag. After that, a pre-recorded video will show him skydiving onto the famous Hollywood sign.
