Beyond Paradise actor Zahra Ahmadi has revealed that she would love to see a well-known Strictly Come Dancing star join the cast of the BBC crime drama spin-off.
Ahmadi, who plays Detective Sergeant Esther Williams in the series after previously appearing in Death in Paradise as a different character, was asked about her dream guest star—and she had the perfect choice in mind.
It would be Chris McCausland. I thought he was amazing on Strictly and I recently watched his Christmas special with Lee Mack, He’s a fantastic comedian, human being and actor. He’d be brilliant in an episode.
she told the BBC

While McCausland may be a great addition to Beyond Paradise, the comedian and latest Strictly winner has a packed schedule this year. He co-hosts a weekly podcast with Dianne Buswell, has a tour extending into next year, and is set to release his memoir in October.

the actor explained

Ahmadi went on to say, “I think she’s open [to more with Archie], but I think she’s also a good friend.”
