In the next episode of Beyond Paradise, something surprising happens—Martha becomes a big part of the team’s new mystery. This time, the team is trying to solve what went wrong during a boat race. One of the racers almost dies because someone secretly puts drugs in their drink. Now, it’s up to the team to determine who did it and why.
Significant traces of Zopiclone
a sleeping pill, were found in a smoothie the victim had been drinking, explains Margo.
In a surprising turn of events, Martha ends up sitting in the police interview room, being questioned by Humphrey and Esther.
Technically, she is the main suspect
adds Margo, suggesting that Martha could have supplied the catering for the boat race, which was sabotaged under her nose.
The detectives are just doing their job, trying to collect all the facts they can. Of course, Martha isn’t suspected of trying to hurt anyone—unless the show is planning a shocking and dark twist.
Still, it’s a new experience for the restaurant owner, and you can tell she feels awkward and uneasy while being questioned.

After trying to stay away, the detective sergeant eventually gave in to her feelings. She showed up at his place, let her guard down—and her hair—and they shared a kiss in the doorway like excited teens.
But she hasn’t told anyone about it yet. Still, Margo seems to have her suspicions, and that includes her daughter too.
No one knows yet, not even Zoe
says Esther
Will her daughter be happy about her mum’s new romance? Or could the truth land awkwardly, to say the least?

Meanwhile, Anne is facing her own worries—she’s noticed some changes in her health and is about to have some medical tests. So far, she hasn’t told Martha, especially after everything that happened with her late husband. She’s also aware that Martha has her hands full with Rosie, their new foster child, who had a tough start but is finally beginning to settle in.
Will Anne open up to her daughter at last? And most importantly, what will the test results reveal?
