Death in Paradise actor Ben Miller has excited fans with news about his role as Jasper Tempest in ITV’s Professor T, after confirming that filming has finished.
The actor, known for playing Detective Richard Poole in Death in Paradise, shared on Instagram that he had wrapped up filming for Professor T.
Last week, we wrapped Season 5 of Professor T! Another few months spent filming with the most hard working crew and cast who give their all to this show. It’s always a pleasure. I’ll be sharing some behind-the-scenes photos – these were taken by the talented Toon Aerts.

ITV has not revealed when Professor T will return, but it is expected to air in 2026. In the new series, Ben will be joined by Emma Naomi, who plays Detective Inspector Lisa Donckers, a former student of Jasper’s who first asked for his help on a case in season one.
Jasper’s mother, Adelaide Tempest, will return, along with Juliet Stevenson as Dr. Helena Goldberg and Zoë Wanamaker as Jasper’s aunt, Zelda Radclyffe.
