“Adolescence” has broken a major viewership record on Netflix after its second weekend of streaming.
The series debuted with an impressive 24.3 million views in its first four days and went on to become the most-watched title on Netflix for the week of March 17-23, adding another 42 million views. This brings its total to 66.3 million views in just 11 days—more than any other Netflix limited series has ever achieved within a two-week period.
“The Residence,” a drama series produced by Shonda Rhimes and starring Uzo Aduba, was the second most-watched TV title of the week, earning 6.4 million views in its first four days. In third place was “Running Point,” which garnered 3.5 million views in its fourth week on the chart. The live wrestling special “Raw: 2025” remained in the rankings, with its March 17 edition drawing 3.1 million views, securing the No. 4 spot on the English-language TV list. “Zero Day” followed at No. 5, accumulating 3 million views in its fifth week on the chart.
The new animated series “Wolf King” debuted in sixth place with 2.9 million views in its first four days on Netflix. Meanwhile, the platform’s latest version of the dating show “Temptation Island” secured the seventh spot, drawing 2.7 million views in its first full week of streaming.
Paramount+’s 1883 continued its run on the chart after arriving on Netflix, securing the No. 8 spot with 2.6 million views in its second week. Bert Kreischer’s comedy special Lucky also made the list, landing in ninth place with 2.6 million views in six days. Meanwhile, Ms. Rachel held the No. 10 spot among English-language TV series, earning 2.3 million views in its sixth week on the chart.
In the English-language movies ranking, The Electric State stayed at No. 1 with 22.5 million views in its second week, while the documentary The Twister: Caught in the Storm debuted at No. 2 with 17 million views. Over on the non-English film chart, the Korean movie Revelations led with a strong 5.7 million-view opening in just three days.
