We currently don’t have an official plot synopsis for Beyond the Spider-Verse, but the ending of Across the Spider-Verse will surely play a pivoting role in deciding the happenings of the next film.
Beyond the Spider-Verse featured Miles is stranded on Earth-42 and at the mercy of Miles Morales, who prowls the universe. His mother is moving out with Uncle Aaron. And his father has died. That universe is a universe without Spider-Man. Just like that, our Miles was sucked into his universe (Earth-1610) by The Spot, the spider that bit him.
Luckily, Miles might be able to get help. As mentioned above, Gwen is going to have her Spidey team help him. Once they found out where he was. Miles must return to his universe because The Spot plans to kill his father if he becomes police captain. His timeline is set. The “Canon Incident” that Miles wants to stop, but Miguel wants to see this happen to help save the spider poem.

I think it’s a good cliffhanger. We hope that it’s a satisfying tee-up for what’s coming in the third film because you want people to be excited about what’s coming next.
