The Story of Kakuda Movie
Kakuda is set in the cursed village of Rathodi, where a dwarf ghost named Kakuda haunts the residents. The Kakuda movie shooting locations were placed across Gujarat including near the port area of Mandvi, Kutch. In the movie, every house in the village has two doors: a normal one and a smaller one. Every Tuesday at 7:15 PM, Kakuda comes to the village. If the small door is not open, he enters the house and kicks a man, causing a hump to appear on his back, leading to his death in 13 days.
The story revolves around Sunny (Saqib Saleem), who loves Indira (Sonakshi Sinha, famous for her role in Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar) from a nearby village. Indira’s father rejects Sunny because he can’t speak English. Despite this, Sunny and Indira decide to elope and get married. However, they choose Tuesday for their wedding. Sunny’s friend warns him about the curse, reminding him to open the small door on time. Sunny agrees, but he gets delayed and ends up being cursed by Kakuda.

Indira takes Sunny to the hospital, believing his hump is a medical condition. When the hump reappears after surgery, she realizes the village curse is real. Desperate to save Sunny, she teams up with Victor Jacobs (Riteish Deshmukh), a ghost hunter, to uncover Kakuda’s past and find a way to break the curse. Kakuda movie writers are Avinash Dwivedi and Chirag Garg, who have presented this unique story.

Nice horror, great acting, great script, great direction and an intelligent mix of comedy to keep the movie entertaining throughout. All actors were perfect in their roles, and it goes without saying that Riteish Deshmukh is one of the most underrated actors of the industry. The Negative Kakuda movie reactions
While the movie has been appreciated for several aspects, fans also found some lacking. The screenplay has been criticized for being predictable and not as engaging as expected. While the premise is interesting, the execution falls short, leaving some audiences disappointed. Many fans expressed that Kakuda doesn’t measure up in terms of humor and excitement.
The minimal use of music also leaves something to be desired, with the existing songs failing to make a significant impact. However, the negative reactions aren’t that major and are on small details.

If you enjoy horror comedies and are interested in folklore-based stories, Kakuda is worth a watch. The film has its moments, especially with Riteish Deshmukh’s performance and the unique setting of the cursed village. The mix of humor and horror provides great entertainment value and the Kakuda movie shooting locations provide great cinematography.
